It’s true, and you can make it real—practical, effective, even fun—in your own life. Discover how to transform any challenge—money, relationships, health, work, spiritual practices, your relationship with God—into a stepping stone to spiritual growth as well as outward fulfillment.

And celebrate the relaxation and freedom that this invaluable skill gives you.

You’ll Learn How to ...

  • Get “unstuck” when you feel overwhelmed or discouraged by an obstacle, or when you simply don’t know how to tackle it
  • Know the crucial first step to take whenever you’re challenged
  • Use your own natural gifts to meet challenges in your own way
  • Avoid the four mistakes that will worsen any problem
  • Find a fresh, effective approach when you’ve been working on an obstacle for a long time without success
  • Eliminate the “energy drains”—subtle ways in which you’ve become part of the problem
  • Convert difficulties into positive adventures—creatively and realistically
  • Free yourself from inner obstacles such as harmful habits, weak willpower, fears, resistance, doubts, or lack of direction
  • Rise to a higher level of energy to overcome your challenges
  • Turn everyday activities into allies that will support your success
  • Build a dynamic partnership with God that will lead you to victory

You’ll gain valuable tools and insights through experiential activities: guided self-analysis, solution-finding exercises, Ananda Yoga®, meditation, and more. It’s all from the Raja Yoga tradition of Paramhansa Yogananda, and his direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda, the founder of Ananda.

Add the strong group magnetism and support that always bless Ananda retreats, and you’ll be off to a powerful start for 2009.

Your Weekend Experience

You’ll enjoy the Mary & Joseph Retreat Center, a hilltop oasis of peace in Rancho Palos Verdes (South Bay). Your retreat features a full schedule of activities, from Ananda Yoga on Friday at 5:00 PM, through the final class on Sunday morning.

All meals will come from Diksha’s ever-popular vegetarian cookbooks—always a special treat!
